Facts you may or may not know
　* Chili peppers fight migraine and sinus headaches as well as act as an anti inflammatory agent in joints. Capsaicin (a chemical that makes a chili hot) inhibits neuropetide which is a key element in the transmission of pain to the brain.
　　　　　 
         * Chili can keep your feet warm and toasty on cold winter nights. Sprinkle powered cayenne paper in your shoes. This will keep your feet nice and warm.

The Chili Cook Off was a pet project of long time fellowship team chairman, Don Clark who passed away in 2007.

The tradition continues in 2012 with competition being in the following areas:

Big Papa - (chili with meat)
High Octane - (veggie chili)
Can't Take the Heat - (chili alternative)
Sarrano Peppers - (chefs under age 18 yrs)

One of the family minister candidates, Michael Donnell and his wife, Carrie, will also be in attendance.
